Have you ever wondered how to be more purposeful in time spent with the grandchildren? How to balance the obedience to God’s Word with the grace and mercy of God as you build or heal relationships?
Do you feel a sense of urgency that is growing day by day as the culture is in a downward spiral?
If you have felt the need for help in any of these areas, we have something for you: Grand Monday Nights!
It’s FREE, but it will take some of your time. However, the blessings and benefits gleaned will far outweigh the time invested.
Here are some of the ways this free weekly webinar from Legacy Coalition helps grandparents.
Grand Monday Nights informs grandparents about the issues affecting not only them but their adult children and grandchildren.
It is filled with factual information, but also great practical ideas to get you started one step at a time.
One of our great privileges, as well as responsibilities, is to pass on our stories to the next generation.
“It turns out that sharing family stories with adult children and grandchildren is more than a pleasant pastime. Research has found that a strong narrative helps build strong family bonds… Passing down lessons and values through stories enhances a sense of well-being.” (Mary W. Quigley)
“The single most important thing you can do for your family may be the simplest of all: develop a strong family narrative.” (Bruce Feiler)
Maybe you don’t feel like a good storyteller; Grand Monday Nights has had presenters share their insight and expert advice on how to pass along your family stories.
Even if you have missed previous Grand Monday Night webinars, do not despair – they are archived under past episodes for easy access here.
Here are some previous topics to give you an idea of what is being offered:
- How to give a blessing to your grandchildren
- How to understand and interact with the screen world and our grandchildren who are digital natives
- How to keep your mouth shut and the welcome mat out
… and so many more. Stroll through our listing to find a topic of interest to you. While it is a great resource to instruct, it also is inspiring!
Many of the topics will inspire you to be more intentional in your grandparenting.
It is not just purchasing gifts, lending a helping hand, cheering them on, or even feeding them sugary snacks and sending them home.
There is so much God desires to do through us in this last half of our lives.
Grandparenting is about passing on our family stories but it is also about passing on THE STORY – God’s Story.
Grand Monday Nights will encourage you to rise to the challenge set before you by God’s Word. We are told:
“Watch yourselves closely so you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.” Deuteronomy 4:9
Topics are covered that will urge you on to greater spiritual impact in your children and grandchildren’s lives.
Grand Monday Nights has covered the importance of a grandfather’s love in the life of a special needs child, how to pray and read the Bible with your grandchildren, and what are the four essentials every grandparent needs to know and display in their life.
You can check out upcoming webinar topics here. Grand Monday Nights does not only inform and inspire, it also involves you.
It involves you in a community of like-minded grandparents who are seeking God’s best for their families.
You realize you are not alone whether you have taken on the sacrificial extremely hard role as a parent in your grandchildren’s lives or are estranged from your children and grandchildren whatever the reason.
There are others out there on a similar journey. We care and seek to come alongside you with resources and encouragement.
Not only can you find a community of grandparents online, but many churches are also using Grand Monday Nights as material for their small groups or Adult Bible Fellowships.
There are small groups that meet on Monday nights and watch the webinar together. Then over dinner or dessert, they discuss the material presented and end with praying for their children and grandchildren.
Others use it on Sunday during discipleship hour.
In addition to Monday night, there are two ways to access the great content:
- The first is the full replay which is available for one week following the live presentation.

Another great way to involve others is through sharing and inviting them to join you at your home or at another time to view or discuss together.
