Effective teams share a common vision and passion. This core team of the Legacy Coalition is absolutely amazing – they are all veteran ministry leaders who are deeply devoted to creating a national movement of intentional Christian grandparents. All work from their homes, volunteering their time and lending their exceptional skills to our mission. Together, they conduct a national conference, create resources, administer local seminars, lead teams, and make our young organization hum!
Thanks to all of you for your incredible service to our Lord and to grandparents!
– Larry Fowler
Founder, Legacy Coalition
Director of Development
Ministry has been part of John and Jacque Coulombe’s lives as they’ve served together in Southern California (Long Beach, Santa Barbara & Fullerton, California) for 50 years. Both are graduates of Judson Baptist College and BIOLA University. John is also a graduate of Talbot School of Theology and Jacque now a retired elementary school teacher. They teach and share out of their own life experiences, since they have become older (not old!). Their married sons have given them eight grandchildren. John has been pastoring ‘experienced adults’ at First EvFree in Fullerton, CA for the past 30 years. John’s present title is interGen Pastor, focused on bringing together the generations and ending the segregation, so common in many churches today with specialized ministries.
John has been featured on Focus on the Family, TBN, TLN and CBN television networks and Christian radio talk shows. He was involved for years leading CASA (Christian Association of Serving/Senior Adults), and most recently working with the Legacy Coalition, a newly founded ministry focusing on intentional Christian grandparenting. John and Jacque have 8 grandchildren. They call them Papa and Grammy.

Wayne serves as our Director of Conferencing and leads the team for our nationally acclaimed Legacy Grandparenting Summit. He is the co-founder (with Mike Yaconelli) of Youth Specialties, a ministry providing resources and training for youth workers all over the world. Wayne has authored dozens of books on youth ministry and parenting and received the Gold Medallion award from the Evangelical Press Association for his book Up Close and Personal: Building Community in Youth Groups. Wayne is also a musician who has performed with several award-winning country and bluegrass bands including Brush Arbor and Lighthouse. Since 1976 he has hosted a weekly radio program featuring bluegrass music on KSON-FM, San Diego’s top-rated country music station. Wayne and his wife Marci live in Alpine, California and have three grown children and (so far) five grandchildren.

Jane and her husband Scott, are in full time Christian camping where Scott is the Executive Director. This has been the perfect ‘fit’ as it has allowed Jane to use her experience and gifts in children’s ministry while serving alongside her husband. Jane has taught Children’s Ministry Seminars around the country and is a speaker at camps, retreats, and women’s ministry events. Jane has the joy of being home with their three children, Alex, Blake, and Emma Grace. She is a true city-girl who has found the sweetest joys in rural Iowa, including a darling cow painting that sits right next to her coffee maker!

She also loves being a team leader in preschool ministry at her local church, especially when one of her grandsons is in the group! Diane balances serving as the administrative assistant for the Legacy Coalition with taking care of their three littlest grandsons three times a week. She and Larry have two children and seven grandchildren and live in Riverside, California.
Larry Fowler is the founder of the Legacy Coalition. His vision for a national Grandparenting Ministry brought together a gifted team of Family, Children's, and Youth Ministry leaders to launch this movement of God. Director of Prayer
Tina has been married to Steve Bradford for 41 years. Together, they have prayerfully raised 2 daughters and a son. Greatest joys and life celebrations have been to witness each of their children's baptisms and Christian marriages. They are now prayerfully encouraging their families as they raise their own children to know God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Tina retired from elementary school teaching to serve along with Steve at Prison Fellowship Ministries and The Colson Center for Christian Worldview. There she planned and helped to lead staff devotions and quarterly Days of Prayer. She is a graduate of the Colson Fellows program. Currently, she feels called to serve in several prayer ministries to strengthen and encourage pastors and churches locally and nationally. She believes through repentance and fervent prayer God will revive the Church to intentionally disciple their families and others for His glory and for the advancement of His Kingdom. Leading the prayer team for the Legacy Coalition gives her joy and great hope in the Lord's plan to sanctify all of our grandchildren (yours and ours!)
