General Requirements for all positions:
- A Christian, willing to sign the Legacy Coalition Statement of Faith
- A Grandparent, or soon to be one
- Able to work in a virtual environment and participate in meetings via telephone or Internet technology platform (currently ZOOM)
- Retired or working part-time.
Open Position Descriptions
The Development Director is the senior fundraising manager for Legacy Coalition and works closely with the Founder, Chief Financial Officer, and the leadership team. In addition, the position is responsible for donor development and cultivating loyal donors. Time estimates for this position are 8-16 hours per week.
Information Technology Manager
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The position holder is responsible for developing and maintaining the IT multi-year plan, working with department leaders to ensure that IT systems adequately support current and future business needs, and oversees all technology projects and operations to align with established goals. Time estimates for this position are 18-24 hours per week.
Legacy Coalition Ambassadors are actively involved in a grandparenting ministry. They are either individuals or couples who recruit, support, and help equip churches in their region to create a Legacy Coalition grandparenting ministry. They do this by partnering with an “Advocate” within the local church to motivate, encourage and resource them as they launch a Grandparenting ministry in their church. Ambassadors will also team with the Legacy Coalition Pastor’s Division to effectively connect with prospective churches in order to cast the vision of Legacy Coalition. Participation in regularly scheduled team Zoom gatherings is expected. This is a volunteer position. Time commitment is approximately 10 hours per month.
