Interceding on Behalf of Legacy Grandparenting Summit

We observe men and women in the Bible interceding with prayer. We find the giants of the Old Testament—Abraham, Moses, Daniel, Ezra, Elisha, Nehemiah—praying for God’s elect. We witness believers in the early church gathered at Mary’s house, praying for Peter’s release. We read Paul’s words to Timothy, “I urge that all supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanksgiving be made for all people” (I Timothy 2:1).

Jesus modeled intercessory prayer throughout the Gospels. He prayed for the strengthening of Simon Peter (Luke 22:32), for the soldiers who crucified him (Luke 24:34) and for all believers, including those of us living in the 21st century. Resurrected, he now lives at the right hand of theFather, making intercession for those who draw near to God through him (Hebrews 7:25).

We believe in the power of intercessory prayer! Therefore, we are asking our readers to pray boldly for the Legacy Grandparenting Summit. For the next two weeks, will you commit to praying for Larry Fowler, coordinator Wayne Rice, the speakers and the team of volunteers charged with the responsibility of hosting this conference?
