Anne Graham Lotz, daughter of evangelist, Billy Graham, told this story about a friend who was packing for a camping trip. As he tried the flashlights in his drawer, one by one, they flickered and went out, drained of all their battery. After sitting for months unused in the drawer, those flashlights reminded Anne that we are to be the light of the world.
So the question is this, are we beaming brightly for Jesus or flickering before we go out? If your light is fading, get your batteries recharged by reading the Bible and walking with the Lord. Let your light lead the way for your children and grandchildren to know their heavenly Father.
