As we get older, it’s easy to forget that the grace that saved us from our sin was not a one time thing. Truth and grace are an essential part of our ongoing maturity in Christ. Still many Christian grandparents struggle to find a healthy balance between truth and grace.
If you’re quick to lay down the law, it may help you to remember what you were like when you first came to Christ. Remember how good it felt to know you were accepted as is and all our grandchildren are just starting off. They’ll make mistakes. So give your grandkids the gift of grace. And when you do, you’ll become a model of God unconditional love.
