When someone sneezes, we say, “God bless you.” But biblical blessings are for more than sniffles and colds. God wants to bless us all the time. A blessing transforms a moment from ordinary into extraordinary.
When we pause before a meal with our grandchildren to bless the food, we elevate that time. And we can bless our grandchildren at other times as well. Bless them when they celebrate a success at home or at school. Pray a blessing over their dorm room, apartment or new job.
You know, when we think about it, life is filled with blessings. And it’s a beautiful way to remind our grandkids that God wants to bless them all the time.
