Thank you for sharing this important action. I appreciated your words and the practical application! Now there seems to be, in evangelical circles, more of an emphasis on “blessing”, as a bigger topic, with the need to give more thought to the importance as well as action of blessing. I regret this topic was not a conscious part of my parenting and grandparenting, though hopefully my children felt blessed – were blessed, as we loved and cared for them. You have given food for thought, and I now will pray that God will use the years ahead, infusing by His Spirit the desire and ability to bless.
