A majority of young people today report serious feelings of loneliness and despair. And our grandchildren may be among those who feel isolated and alone. But in the Bible, God says, I will never leave leave you. These are five words that our grandchildren need to hear. I discovered a handy way to teach my grandchildren this verse. Raise one finger at a time and say, God will never leave you. Then replace the last word with your grandchild’s name: “God will never leave, Calvin.” Now that’s a handy verse. And it will remind our grandchildren that they are loved and watched over by God.
