Family Food Fight

Is your family in a food fight? Whether you’re an omnivore, paleo, glutenfree, or vegetarian, people have strong feelings about food, especially during the holidays. But disagreements over what’s for dinner are nothing new.

Way back in the Book of Romans, Paul wrote to the early church to settle disputes among believers about what to eat. Paul advised mature believers not to quarrel over disputable matters. So if your adult children have a special diet for their family, respect their choice and avoid a food fight. Instead of getting overheated, extend grace on this nonessential issue and focus on spending quality family time instead.
