Have you heard about boomerang parenting? It’s a common phenomenon where adult children come back home to live, perhaps for a short time or longer. And along with adult kids, there may be grandkids who come to live with their grandparents. Many of us will experience this at least once.
So instead of being surprised, be prepared to welcome your children back home. You can still set guidelines, but you’ll need to deal with your kids as adults. It’s a challenge, for sure, but it may be an opportunity to pass on your Christian faith and bless the generations to come.
