It’s easy to get wrapped up in Christmas and lose sight of what matters most. So here are some simple ideas to make this Christmas a meaningful holiday with your grandchildren.
Before you gather, ask family members about their favorite Christmas songs. Make a playlist for background music. When you’re together and at an appropriate time, ask each person to share why he likes that song and how it reminds him of Jesus.
While you’re wrapping your gifts, write Bible verses from the Christmas story and place them on each gift. Then ask your grandchildren to read the scripture before he opens his present. This Christmas, give your family a spiritual legacy that blesses them all year long.
