Whether you live around the corner or around the world, prayer is the most important thing you can do for your grandkids. It’s so obvious, yet so overlooked. James 516 tells us that “the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” So let’s pray for our grandkids and intercede on their behalf.
And when you pray, ask your grandkids for requests. Pray Scripture over them, and be faithful to pray regularly, trusting God for the results. It’s the most important and reliable connection between you and your grandchildren. And then don’t be shocked. Perhaps one day they’ll ask how they can pray for you.
