It’s true what they say. You can’t take it with you. All the stuff stored in your garage has a shelf life. Nothing retains its value over the years though, like purpose, character and sweet memories with your grandchildren. I’m not talking about giving away everything or spoiling your grandkids with material goods, but give generously of your time, your love and your grace.
Start by taking an inventory of what you have. I mean your spiritual gifts and the abilities that God has granted to you. Consider how you can impact future generations for their good and to grow God’s kingdom. An intentional Christian grandparent is generous and openhanded, sharing wisdom that will be passed on from generation to generation.
