Job opportunities, military deployment, better schools; these are just a few of the reasons many grandparents are separated from the grandchildren. But wherever your grandkids live, you can find creative ways to connect. If your grandkids are living in a new town, they’re probably bored and would love to hear from you.
So why not try a virtual scavenger hunt? Listen over a zoom call, tell your grandchildren, they have 30 seconds to search for an item such as a stuffed animal, a book or something blue. And when they come back on screen, ask them about why they picked it. It’s fun and best of all, it helps you stay connected.
