Robert Browning, the romantic poet wrote these famous words. He said, “Grow old along with me. The best is yet to be.” So let me pose a question as a grandparent. Are you still excited about the future? Many grandparents assume that it’s time to sit back and relax and do nothing, but truly our most impactful years are ahead and God is calling intentional Christian grandparents to remain active at our age.
We finally have the time and resources to invest in new experiences. Why not travel on a mission trip, volunteer at church, or do something to create new memories, grandparents. Your story is far from over. In fact, the best is yet to be, to hear more stories.
