Valerie Bell is an award-winning author, speaker and ministry leader. Justin and Phyllis Rice
Justin is a former pastor, Christian education director, music director and hospice chaplain living in Nashville, Tennessee. His wife Phyllis has served in ministry alongside Justin and has been a piano teacher for more than 50 years. Justin and Phyllis have three children and seven grandchildren who live in Atlanta, Georgia, Glendale, California and Vancouver, Washington. They are experienced intentional long-distance grandparents. Justin Rice and the Legacy Coalition’s Wayne Rice are second cousins.

John serves as president of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview. He is a popular speaker on such topics as faith and culture, theology, worldview, education and apologetics. He is the daily voice of BreakPoint, the nationally syndicated radio feature founded by the late Chuck Colson. Before coming to the Colson Center in 2010, John served in various leadership capacities with Summit Ministries and was on the biblical studies faculty at Bryan College. He and his wife, Sarah, have four children and live in Colorado Springs, CO.
David grew up in parsonages in Tennessee, Illinois, and Ohio. He graduated from Johnson Bible College (now Johnson University) in 1973, received his Master of Ministry degree in 1985, and received his Master of Arts in Leadership in 2005.
David has served in several local churches as youth minister and senior minister. In 1997, he moved to Knoxville (TN) to become the Campus Minister and a professor in the School of Congregational Ministry at Johnson University. He is also a popular speaker for couple’s retreats and leadership seminars, and he conducts “Grandparenting Matters” one-day seminars for the Legacy Coalition.
David and his wife Cathy have been married for 47 years. They have two grown daughters and are now intentional Christian grandparents to three granddaughters and two grandsons.
David’s mission statement is to “love God and enjoy Him forever.” His theme verse is Col. 3:23 – “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”
