Whose job is it to share the good news of Jesus Christ with your grandchildren? In Psalm 78, the Bible lays out a mandate to parents and grandparents. It says, “Tell the next generation the praiseworthy the deeds of the Lord, his power and the wonders he has done.”
Whether you’re working full time, part time, staying home or retired, you still have an important job to do. God wants you to pass on the stories about how God has worked in your family and in your life so the next generation will know God and praise Him. Grandparents, you are an essential worker in the Kingdom of God.
