The price of going out to eat has gone way up, but you know, it’s worth it to spend a little extra money to take your grandkids out for a good meal and some good conversation. Going to a restaurant creates an opportunity to talk, listen, and most importantly, share your faith with your grandkids. If possible, take each grandchild out individually. You’ll discover that young kids or young adults open up in totally different ways when they’re away from the familiar distractions at home.
So invite the grandkids out for a meal. If it takes a hamburger and a milkshake or steak and lobster to get the conversation flowing, it’s well worth the investment.
