The average American household has three Bibles, but studies show that most of these are stuck on the shelf. What a shame. The Bible is filled with life changing wisdom, and I want to share it with my grandchildren. As the elders in our family, it’s our God-given role to share God’s word with our grandkids.
Just like the Apostle Paul, who encouraged young Timothy to continue studying the Scripture, saying all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for recruitment and correction, and training in righteousness. Wow. Now that’s a good book. So let’s dust off the family Bible, open it up and read it to our grandchildren.
