When you’re gone, what will your grandkids remember most about you? Now, I know we don’t like to think about our expiration date. Nobody does. But one day we’ll all be gone, and we can’t grandparent from the grave. This means we need to be an example today, while we still can.
So let your grandkids see you reading the Bible instead of watching TV. Let them know you’re praying for them to God, asking God to intervene. And take the time to share your personal stories of God’s faithfulness, to encourage their own God confidence. When you’re gone, your example of faith will be all that remains in the heart and in the minds of those you leave behind.
