Mealtime Mentoring

Busy families eat on the run. Their jam packed schedules don’t allow them to sit down for cozy family meals. But skipping those sacred moments may mean your grandkids are missing out on a lot more than meatloaf. Research says that family meals improve family connectedness, communication and problem solving. It’s an important pause in the day that draws families together.

So when the grandkids come to your home, make sure your mealtime allows for intentional conversation. Take a moment to pray before you eat. And don’t forget to put those distracting technology devices away. Invite your family to a mealtime with conversation that’s healthy and delicious.

Find out how you can become a more intentional Christian grandparent.
