Sometimes it’s hard to get a conversation going, even with people who share our DNA. We may have important ideas to share with our grandkids, but have you noticed that offering unsolicited advice can shut down the conversation? Yeah, it’s true. So next time, be a question asker, not an advice giver. And the Legacy Coalition has a helpful tool called Let’s Talk Conversation Cards. To help you do just that, I have a set in my car. This resource provides hundreds of questions for you to ask your grandchild and questions that your grandchild can ask you. It’s a fun way to go deeper with your grandson.
