When the grandkids come to visit, it’s helpful to have a plan. I don’t mean just an itinerary to pack in the fun, but a spiritual plan for your time together. Try thinking about Bible stories, verses, and your personal God stories that you want to pass on. In Deuteronomy 6:7, the Bible says, “Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
This kind of intentional Christian grandparenting leaves an impression. So make a plan to use every moment on the road and at your destination to impress God’s word on your grandkids and get more out of your time together.
