Give Them a Call

Just like you and me, kids long for acceptance and attention. And even with today’s high tech communication tools, many kids feel desperately isolated and alone. So how do we help fill that void? Well, an intentional grandparent can serve as a catalyst for connection.

Make a habit of calling your grandkids on a regular basis. If you can call each grandchild separately so that they get one on one attention. And keep notes on what they say. So you can follow up grandma and grandpa. Your communication will become a safe harbor in your grandchild’s turbulent world.
