Even though we’re older and wiser, the reality is we’re never too old to make mistakes. If you’ve been a Christian for a long time, one of the most common mistakes is knowing, but not doing the will of God. Failing to live out our faith hurts our relationship with God, and it undermines our influence.
If we want to have a spiritual impact on our grandkids, we need to obey God. And knowing the right thing to do is not the same as doing the right thing. The Bible says, if you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. So if you’ve blown it, repent quickly and move forward. Your example of obedience will bless your grandchildren.
