We believe the local church is the best avenue for grandparenting ministry to take place. Our desire is to partner with churches whose leaders encourage, envision, and equip grandparents to be intentional disciplers of their grandchildren. The word, “Coalition” in our name represents our partnership with churches having a common commitment to grandparenting. Together, we see the potential for discipleship in the grandparent role, and are doing something about it.

Starting a Grandparenting Ministry in Your Church
Here are four steps to successfully launching an effective grandparenting ministry in your church. Let us know how we can help you with each step along the way!
Step 1: Pastoral Support
Secure the support of a pastor who recognizes the importance of a grandparenting ministry and will encourage your efforts.
Step 2: Core Group
Develop a team of key leaders who are committed to launching and sustaining a grandparenting ministry.
Step 3: Vision Event
Plan a kickoff seminar or small group to share God’s heart for intentional Christian grandparenting.
Step 4: Equipping Opportunities
Schedule regular equipping sessions throughout the year to build a contagious community of long-term vision and practical training.
